These associations collaborate with us to constantly adhere to strict codes of ethics and meet specific industry requirements. WELCOME TO KG BEAUTY
& MODALITY TRAINING

Hi, I’m Karen Geiszler, Clinical educator and founder of KG Beauty Modality Training. Firstly, thank you for landing on my website and congratulations on wanting to expand your skill set with additional training.

I started in the hair and beauty industry in 1986. Running two successful clinics in southern Sydney.

I’m a beauty therapist, hairdresser, laser and IPL practitioner and trainer with over 30 years of experience.

In 2004. After a holiday to Queensland I came back to Sydney and I knew I wanted more so I relocated to Queensland sold the clinics.

I wanted that work life balance, and I built a clinic on 12 acres in Apple Tree between Harvey Bay and Bundaberg and that’s where Karen Geiszler Hair and Beauty Laser and IPL clinic was launched.

I knew I wanted to give back to the industry. That has given me so much joy. So in 2006 I started my journey to gain my training qualifications, so I could share my knowledge with the beauty industry.

I found that being a sole operator and sourcing training required taking me out of my clinic to travel to Brisbane. Sydney and Melbourne.

While the training was fantastic, I was still out of my clinic, not making an income and having the expense of accommodation on top of the cost of training.

And that’s when kg beauty and modality training was born. By offering bespoke training in the comfort of your own clinic, I travel to Clinics in city and regional locations across all states of Australia.

It allows clinics access to training, which means minimal business disruption and saving on the expensive of travel and accommodation for staff.

I get so much enjoyment from sharing my passion and knowledge with other therapists, particularly those based in regional areas that might not always have the same opportunities as city based clinics
In 2021. It was an honour to be recognized nationally as a finalist in two categories for the Australian Beauty Industry Awards
